NOVENA OF GUADALUPE IN THE CONTEXT OF ADVENT AND OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM

About the Author

 

Rev. Christopher Gibson, C.P. was born in 1948, in Argentina. He grew up partly there and in the USA. He studied under Pope Francis during his seminary years and was ordained to the priesthood in the Passionist Community, Buenos Aires in 1975. Since then he has ministered in Argentina, Uruguay, India, Tanzania and U.S.A., in parishes, schools, a retreat houses, as an itinerant missionary, and as superior/ director of students in his order. He was instrumental in recruiting and training young men to his order in India during its initial period of Foundation between 1982 and 1993.  Between 1993 and 2003 he gave parish missions and retreats in English and Spanish mostly in the USA, but also in Canada and Jamaica, residing first in Chicago, then in Houston, TX and then Sacramento, CA. Between 2004-2007 he served his Congregation as General Mission Secretary with residence in Rome, Italy. When he was back in the back in the U.S.A. he was Vocation Director until 2017, while preaching at the same time on weekends throughout the country for a charitable organization called “Food for the Poor”.
